Project 1: Drafting a Plot

Using given parameters for areas and systems, create a lighting plot and section including channel numbers, focus areas, colours, unit numbers, and border placement. Additionally, create a channel hookup and magic sheet. 

Project 2: Vinegar Tom

Create a lighting design for Vinegar Tom using Capture and the provided 3D stage setting. You may use the provided images, plot, and section as inspiration for your design.

Project 3: Dynamic Orchestration from a Painting

Find a painting that you find interesting in terms of the artist’s dramatic use of light. Study the artwork and observe areas of light as well as shadow, color of light, quality of light, intensity, and angle of light sources. Your objective is to recreate an artist’s painting in 3D and in full details with light, scenery, costume and photograph it for your final lighting project.
