The Crucible was produced by Germantown Community Theatre. The design team for this performance took a minimalistic approach, with only a few platforms and windows for scenic elements. The purpose of lighting was to emphasize time of day and light the actors. As such, a simple plot was designed to cover all areas of the stage evenly. Working in a small space provided it's own unique challenges for determining angles and special locations, but was ultimately rewarding once the audience was introduced into the space.
