Pants was devised and performed by the director and actors of FEMMEmphis, a small theatre company located in Memphis, TN. The show told the story of three historical females who presented as male in order to better their lives. The lighting concept for Pants was based around three primary looks - one for each character - and pull out specials for monologuing. The second act was devised each night with audience participation, so the lighting was kept to a simple, pride-inclusive look.
