Edges was performed by the Auburn University Department of Theatre and Dance and was Katie's Senior Thesis Project. The concept for the show revolved around the themes of isolation and togetherness and presented with the additional challenge of including a baby grand piano onstage in a thrust configuration. The scenic design juxtaposes the familiarity of a street-side cafe against the isolating expanse of the galaxy, while the lighting design utilizes saturate colours and distinct areas to separate or unite the actors.
